I don't know about "where" but the "when" is probably "in a few months".

I've seen PPQ magazines go for $50, and then down to $35.

Give it time if you can.

Here are some for $59.99. They started at 45.99 I bought about 6 and they kept going up. But they have 8 in stock.

There are some cheap 10rd on ebay. but what I got was a hackjob blocked 15rd magazine. A steel rod welded thru the mag body then grinded down plus a crappy paint job.
Haven't take them to the range yet

We had no choice in buying a VP9, because of SSE ending (yes I know PPT is still an option), so we had to buy at the peak of the craziness.

But a 10 round magazine isn't going to end for us, so I would wait as long as possible. Don't buy at the peak of demand. Give it time, the demand will cool down, and the prices will become sort of normal again.

They are out of stock practically everywhere.

The highest is on HK Parts.net at 70 bucks a pop completely ridiculous unless you are desperate. They sale for as low as 50 and as high as 70 dollars.

You can call HK direct like I did but they are out of stock and expect a 3 week wait time until restock and they charge 59 dollars each which is more than they use to charge a few years ago when people bought them for their P30's.

I managed to put in a order at one site at 46 dollars a piece and locked in that price with a 3 week minimum back order.

If you need the part number to search for some it's HK-229750S

Don't expect the price on these to go down anytime soon, expect to pay 50 dollars minimum, I came across a posting of a guy paying 46 dollars each direct from HK back in 2009.

You are better off looking for used P30 mags

The P30 and VP9 share the same magazines they are interchangeable and share the same part numbers for the 10 and 15 round factory mags.

Since the VP9 is the new hot gun on the market and a few states like CA require the stupid 10 rounders even people with P30's are out of luck.

Standard pricing formula for H&K magazines places factory pistol magazines in the $60-100 range, because you suck and they hate you.

                          I sad... NIB H&K 8 round P7M8 magazines = $90.

Audiophil2 was selling blocked VP9 / P30 for $44, not sure if he still has any.
