Doesn't really flow with Glock's naming convention, not unless they've had this for over a year and just now decided to release it (if it's even for real).

Either a 10mm lomg slide pistol should be a G43, signifying the next Glock model, or that Glock made this well over a year ago and decided not to release it before the .45 G41.

Besides the long slide 10mm G40, apparently there is also going to be "optics ready" model Glocks, but only the long slide models (G34, G35, G40, G41).

Haven't seen or heard anything else yet, but then SHOT is about 15 days away.

There goes my dream that Glock would release a 22lr as the Glock 40 to torment gunshop employees. A longslide 10mm does make sense for a field gun.
