    mini draco, wow no recoil?

Noob here on the ak platform. i just shot my mini draco and is it me? or do these ak's not have any real recoil? recoil was little more than my ar15.
it did have a nice loud report an flash as i had expected. however,
    1) accuracy was better than expected.
    2) buddy told me recoil was gonna be like my lever 30/30. NOT!! closer to ar-15.
    3) so is this me? or do these little dracos have the fun meter pegged? omg, to think i wasted time playing with those ar's.

shot this in my buddies bomb shelter again, just to test out a few rounds. the power of the 7.62 round is impressive to say the least. we shot some eucalyptus burls, and the 7.62 would basically explode them. 556 and .40 didnt do much compared to the 7.62.

just wanted to sound off, first time noob and the ak platform. so anyone want to trade my ar's for their ak? lol

Yes AK pistols are super fun to shoot take your mini Draco out at night and watch it spit fire like a dragon. I have seen still shots of 3 foot long flames coming out of the muzzle! Enjoy.

They still weigh within a pound of an sks and that rifle is a joy to shoot. There's the whole issue of the weight being concentrated in a smaller area of course but it's no light weight and soaks up the recoil.

actually was looking for the sks. but the darn draco stole my money instead. yes it was a impulse sse purchase, but actually i dont think id ever sell it. omg fun-o-rama. cant wait to get out to some blm land and really see how she does. just hate the bb. ar has a much better bb, ak is more like a screwdriver button not a bullet button.

Fullsize dracos are decety accurate too. I can hit the 100yd plate at Angeles without too much difficulty. You just gotta learn how to hold it outbin front of you

I had the same experience. I was expecting it to kick much harder. Not only was it light and controllable, but I was actually hitting what I aimed at! At only about 40 yards, granted. Still impressed, though.

ok glad to hear the same. guess it must the "front heavyness" ?? took off the brace and its still very comfortable to shoot.
still need to see how she does out past the 20 feet.

I Was very surprised to see how well the brace works as intended. Like u said, very low recoil, I just shot my mini and micro yesterday for the first time. I was very much impressed indeed, with or with out the brace.....
I shot it from inside a tree house, lol. With how loud it would be in my hallway, I decided the shotgun will be the home defense gun, As its loudness is a fraction of the mini/micro concussion

Like a 30/30? Your buddy must have a soft shoulder. 7.62x39 is more in between 5.56 and 30/30. 30/30 is more like 308. The recoil impulse is not snappy like 40SW for pistols. But more like the push of the 45. Out of a short barrel like that, I'd say your effective range (in terms of consistent accuracy) is probably no more than 200 at best, which is plenty enough for a hard hitting PDW.

tree house? dam thats cool too. ?? shotgun isnt as loud? hahahaha so how is the micro? i could only afford one, so the mini won over the pap, micro, or the new c39.

i dont plan on anything past 50 feet really. anything past 50 yards is not a threat. lol if it is there are other toys to fit the need.
dont know why he would have said something like that. that ak is no where near that marlin 30/30 metal butt plate.
