    Buying replacement slides?

Anyone know how to go about it? Do HK, Walther, or Sig sell slides to individual customers? Or do you basically have to skim Gunbroker looking for one?

Anyone locally in SoCal would be awesome too.

Almost all of the manufacturers refuse to only sell slides for some reason.

The reason why Glock slides are always availble on Ebay is that there are so many of them in the first place plus places like Lone Wolf and Zev Teck make aftermarket slides.

Gun Broker is a good place to find slides as well.

I believe someone is selling a CZ75 slide on the marketplace.

I bought a replacement bbl and slide for a Beretta 92 from Brownells. Believe they also offer other manufacturer's slides. You can also purchase slides for some pistols from Numrich GPC; just depends of what is in stock. I've also seen slides for a 1911 offered by Sarco, Inc.

Sig slides are sold as complete "conversion kits," I am unaware of anyway to get just the slides.

It really depends on what you want. I called Browning and they are selling to sell a slide for something like $500. It's expensive if you absolutely want it you can have it. Say you want a Sig slide without LCI, you can try to buy non-CA gun and ask the seller to only send you the slide, barrel and recoil spring. I have not tried this yet but it might be worth a shot.

              Sig will.
I replaced my LCI slide and barrel with non Ca. slide and barrel.

I think barrels are easier to come across than slides.

                I've fallen, and I can't reach my GLOCK !

I have not ordered/won any, but gun broker and e-bay have auctions with pistol slides.

Gun broker slides are easy to acquire but the price is ridiculous. Not worth buying in my opinion.

I did the same thing. Sig custom shop sold me a custom caliber exchange kit that included an non-LCI Elite slide for my P229 Enhanced Elite. I had them do one in .40 and 9mm. It wasn't cheap but I had a 20% discount and now have eliminated the LCI slide.

I want a S&W M&P 40 slide, anyone know who's got those for sale. I've looked on gun broker and around other sites to no avail.

You can get a replacement slide on CZs from the CZ custom shop, unfortunately they won't have a firing pin block, have fiber optic sights instead of tritium and will have the words SHADOW on the side.
