    Now that SSE is over...

Does anyone see an opportunity for someone out of state setting up a ppt type service? Just putting the feelers out there, I didn't get the chance to get my VP9!

I'm not that knowledgeable but this sounds like the type of thing that could get you thrown in jail as a straw purchase.

Buy a VP9 ppt legally here in California.
Buy made in USA whenever possible.

I think the market will be flooded with VP9s. It may turn around and become a buyer's market, with sellers dropping prices to sell, unless they want to hold for a longer time frame. There's other nice guns out there....

I don't know all the ins and outs, just wondering if there was a legal way someone out of state could get us unfortunate kalifornians some off roster handguns. Just starting off the new year with some brainstorming I guess.

Unfortunately, our overlords have wised up to this sort of thing. You know you live in the PRK when we have to talk about semi-smuggling in products that the rest of the nation enjoys freely.

PPT is between 2 CA residents. Both MUST use the same FFL.

I'm sure there will be plenty of VP9s in the marketplace. If you want one that badly, be prepared to pay big time.

I have mine. No, it's not for sale.

I agree this could definitely happen in the short term. A LOT of these and other popular guns like XDS, etc. came in recently and my sense is that many people bought them to flip so supply could be high initially (just a guess). On the other side of the equation, a lot of buyers blew their bankrolls either buying SSE guns they want to keep for themselves, or guns they want to flip. Just my personal perspective, I advanced my pistol purchases for the next 3-5 years to get what I wanted through SSE, so I'll be a very limited pistol buyer for quite some time - I think that will be the case for many normal buyers.

Combine fairly large supply with fairly muted demand and it could indeed be a buyer's market...for the short term. Eventually, people like me will get the itch to buy again and if the roster situation doesn't change, prices will go up over the long haul.
