OC Firearms SSE madness

What has everybodys experience been, seeing that everybody is in love with this place.

My buddy is down there right now I just got a text from him. He ordered a gun from them December 22nd, but hasn't received a call or email to let him know if the gun arrived or not. Calling didn't help because they don't answer the phone.

Being the last day to Dros, he's down there right now hoping the gun is there, but won't know for another 2 plus hours. The guy in front of him and behind him are in the same boat. Hopefully it works out for him.

I'm just glad I was able to get all my guns from Grant at Ammo Paradise this year.

I got an email from then letting me know my pistol came in and the dros was being started have him check his spam box

If they indicated that the gun will be in on or before today, from my experience it should be there.

I was going to head down there to pick up but it looks like I'll wait a few days to avoid the lines.

I was there yesterday. I arrived at 9:50am (10 minutes before they open) and there's already a long line. Done doing my transaction around 11:05am.

The handgun I ordered from them took around seven days to arrive at their store. Ordered it 11/28 and received an email 12/4 that they have it at the shop.

OC Firearms is a great store and the owner Steve really looks out for his customers. What did you friend expect waiting until the very end of the SSE time frame..... Every shop is going to be overly busy.

Always had great experiences with OCF. I didn't get an email for my last gun that I dros'd there. When I called they were extremely apologetic about it. They definitely get the lions share of my business.

It's a tiny shop with a few employees. They don't have time to answer any calls right now. They are busting their humps to get as many deals done possible before the deadline.

What would you do? Make deals first come first served when the line is out the door , or answer every phone call question all current and prospective buyer might have. Call in Feb 2015 , I'm sure they will pick up.

Nothing like waiting till the last minute and then *****ING and WHINING about being caught up in the madhouse. I call it poetic justice myself.....

Well fortunately my friends gun was there when it was his turn. Apparently a bunch of people in front of him weren't so lucky and left because their guns didn't show up.

That's fine, I got mine in at ammo paradise, I didn't have to wait until the last minute, my last gun was already paid for and ordered when I picked up my November SSE.
