    New HK usp45 full size

Pick it up on the 5th Jan. OTD it was $975, so with the HK rebate-$775. Ammo Bros had a few of them, and when I went back today to get a Galco holster for it they (45 USPs) were all gone, including the compact 45. They even knocked $10 off the holster. If it were raining, I'd be doing a Gene Kelly impersonation.

You're going to love it. My brother just got his last week and I shot it today for the first time and was very impressed. Congrats.

I got mine at AmmoBros as well. Paid $800 for it and I am selling it now. I replaced it with a HK USP .45 Tactical.

I'm working on a Tacticool. Just ordered a threaded barrel from Bud's gunshop for $199. Gotta figure out how to make it street legal without the thread protector permanently attached so I can swap out the oem for whatever reason I choose at the moment.

              Slide finish?

Is the slide on your USP black or stainless? Mine is stainless and doesn't show wear.

And they are going to ship it? Your CA-experience with Buds is better than mine.

OP should buy a match trigger kit or send it to HK to get it match tuned, freaking love the trigger on my USP45. Best feeling DA/SA I own, my other DA/SA is a SP01(Sold), P229 and P226 Mk25. I want a USP9 after shooting my buddy's P30L Light LEM which makes my VP9 feels inadequate.

... not sure about that store. I read and hear a lot of bad things about them. They sound like a bunch of two-timing-douchebagging-lower than dirt-POS's. The other thing, they aren't CA friendly. Their name should be FUD gunshop.

Whenever you need parts for H&K, look up HK parts .net. I have ordered parts from there.

By the way, for that threaded barrel, good luck not getting crap from them.

Yep, got the email today. They're (Buds) going to give me a full refund. I did shopping at hkparts before. Looks like they have everything for a complete gun except the frame.

Question about match trigger, TomT, are the springs lightened, like the hammer spring? I keep all my guns defensive-ready.

My slide is black, Miltiades. A year or so ago I saw a stainless usp45 on consignment at Field Time, which is now closed. Had several xtra mags, but I still didn't think it was worth $1400 to me. They said they aren't made any more.

Yes the hammer spring in the Match Trigger kit is rated at 12 LBS instead of the 14 LBS in the stock trigger. The trigger return spring is "slighly lighter," but not rated.
