    Colt 45 Commander ???

    Looking for one more 1911; I currently have a SA Loaded and a Dan Wesson Pointman 7. Want to keep the price in between the two I have; not interested in Kimber or Ruger and don't have the money for an Ed Brown or Nighthawk. I can't carry; so just fun shooting and range shooting.
    Has to be California legal and can be blue or stainless; how does the Colt Commander or something like that fit in?
    It's my choice, just looking for suggestions.

      Colt Commander is a great choice. New ones are in the $1000 to 1,100 range but you can find a very nice used one for less.
