CZ come with cable lock?

Locks are not CA approved. A lot of shops throw out locks that are not CA approved.

Mine all came with the blue cable lock and no issues. Do you have a safe? Just sign the safe affidavit.

Safe Affidavits haven't worked for handguns for years, only rifles.

My CZ P07 (2014) didn't come with one. There's no cutout in the case for one either.

My California Roster SP-01 did NOT come with a lock when I bought it 3+ years ago.

It does not depend on the FFL, it is a little thing called the law, specifically the Child Safety Lock Act Of 2005. Just because an FFL does something hardly makes them right. In fact, a lot of FFLs bend the rules a bit. Even in other states if you buy a handgun that doesn't come with a lock you can bring your own (no CA compliant locks or receipts like CA). And if your FFL gets an ATF audit he may have to explain some things.

The guy at the shop was nice enough to give it to me for free since he didn't think it was fair to charge me $8.50 after buying the CZ from them.

Well, it's worked for me every single time at a lot of different FFL's. Quick mental count at least 8. Never had an issue.

That's how all shops should conduct their business.

My local dealer here in socal gave me 3 brand new locks for free when I bought 3 lower receivers. Turner's not so much...

Read this thread earlier today.Bought a 75-B in September.Spent a couple hours making myself crazy trying to find where I put the case.

Couldn't remember if it came with a lock.(or where I put the case)Just found it.Unmarked generic looking blue cable lock under foam in top of case.Where it will remain.
