    Springfield Range Officer 9mm. Seriously...!?!

Seriously Springfield? Could you make a more enjoyable, easy shooting 9mm? Haha

I took out my Range Officer 9mm out today for the first time and it was impressive to say the least. I didn't have much time to shoot but I was able to get 150 rounds down range.

It's ridiculously easy to shoot and very soft on recoil. I was shooting 100 rounds of Winchester White Box and 50 rounds of some ZZQ? The Winchester performed flawlessly and had no malfunctions. The ZZQ had 2 light primer strikes. No FTF/FTE.

The all black sights aren't as bad as I anticipated. I was able to pick up my front sight pretty well.

The first pic is at 10 yards and the 2nd pic at 15 yards. All in all its a great pistol and I look forward to many, many rounds.

If I have one more year for SSE, the SA RO 9mm will be on the list. Congrats

You used masking tape to stick your shoot and see targets up? You do know those dots are removable as well right?

I'm sure he knows. If he stick them on the paper card board he would have a hard time taking them off.

Heck of a lot easier to use masking tape when taking off than to peel and stick.

The small dots are to cover up the bullet holes, so you can still use the target after a few shots.

Remember to dial 1 before 911.

Forget about stopping power. If you can't hit it, you can't stop it.

Maybe for the first one sure, but after that peel and stick away :P Anyways, looks like a great shooter

Have you had a chance to clean the firing pin channel to make sure there is no obstruction to cause the light primer strike? I asked because I used to own a SA 1911 9mm stainless and brand new the firing pin channel still has some metal shavings inside.

Not yet. I've just cleaned it once when I picked it up. I think I'll give it a once over and blame the ammo since the Winchester ran flawlessly.
