that's one of the thing that annoyed me the most about glock was their grip.

i've seen it with the hogue grip, which made it fatter.. so to me it felt like it didn't enable me to grip it even better than before.

you can go on youtube and search for Pachmayr rubber grip for glock 17 and u'll see it. looks pretty good and effective. it's around $10.xx or so.

or u can check out this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfJx69Bd2p4

What aggravated you about the grip? Not enough grip? Irritated hand in spots? Shape didn't fit your hand well?

I'm not a fan of rubber grips on Glocks. I'd use a wrap (AGrip or similar), grip tape, or just have it stippled depending on your answers to the above questions.

Just keep shooting it. G19 is about as good as it gets, stock or not. I have xtended controls on mine. Don't put tape on it. Try some light gloves. It might be you & not the gun. I shot my G19 so much, when I first got it, I had blisters. I griped about the gun, it was me. Because I cant breathe, I shoot twice a week!
Yes I took the pic, no I didn't go swimming!

I have talon grip tape on my G19. Works good but looks meh. They offer a rubberized version. It looks cool, but have never used it.

Get a Gen 3 RTF2 frame Glock(17, 19, 22, 23), Problem solved. No need to take a chance on a bad stippling job or have to use grip tape.

I've put Talon grips on my G17, Shield, and SD9VE. Best investment ever.

I use the rubberized decal grips. They don't add any appreciable size to the grip and come packaged in pieces; so you can apply only those that you like. They easily removed if you don't like them and the cost is $10 or so. I bought mine from The Glock Store.

Tell us about the agitation and we can help.
If you hate it. Give me the g19. I got some Tulammo for Ya.

Is it your middle finger hitting the trigger guard? Palm in the backstrap swell?
                    Pinky hanging off? Webbing?
                    Lots of solutions.

for is i find it hard to perfectly wrap my dominant hand around the grip, with or without the glove. it just didn't give me that sense of "fits like a glove" feel as compared to holding the PPQ, Sig229, or CZ75 SP01 or P-01.

sorry OP.. don't mean to threadjack...

Some instructors teach "Don't squeeze with dominant hand"
The pressure or grip is from your none dominant hand.
I have used this grip for 3 years and have improved my shooting.
Some right hand shooters will pull to the left from griping with right hand.
Try loose dominant and tight non dominant.

Op, you need some grip reduction and stippling and trigger guard relieving on that Gen 3- G19 frame. I have done it on my G-19 and is much better now!
