Buy current Shield or new CA Shield?

I can buy a current Shield or wait for the new CA Shield, the only difference is the new one has the chamber indicator. Which should I go with?

I was against the whole LCI thing until I got my Sheild. Now, I am starting to like the fact that I can look at it and tell it is loaded. I do not like the mag disconnect though.

non ca model was 350, ca model can be nearly msrp 450$

LCI is nice if you need or want it, I tend to rather not want it.
Personal pref.

I like the LCI on the top of the gun. If you wake up in the middle of the night and you cant see very well because it is dark, a quick swipe across the top of the slide will confirm that the gun is still loaded.

Well my IA only issues about 5 permits, but will be changing that since Peruto. In that case should I just wait?

Does that mean I can't use my older guns that I have owned for 25 years for CCW and were never on the roster?

Sounds like if you want to CCW, and your gun falls off the roster, you have to buy another gun. I guess none of the full size M&P or Ruger pistols can be used for CCW.
