    1911 ejection issue

Yesterday I was shooting my Mil Spec S.A. .45 .
Almost every time, the last round in the mag. would not eject normally as the others had and would fly back in my face. I was using Chip McCormic 8 round Power Mags. fully loaded. Ammo was standard ball reloads.

    Any thoughts?

Sounds like your last round is falling off the extractor.
The previous rounds are "helped" into the correct position by the round beneath.
The first thing I would do is tune and adjust the extractor; a simple procedure.

An Internet reference site, with all you ever wanted to know about the M-1911 pistol, designed by the most ingenious gunsmith of all times, John Moses Browning.
