    Not according to the Army.

Looks nice, I'd buy one. I love Berettas, and don't mind the safety at all.
Most complaints about the safety come from people who started out with a 1911 style safety and have to adapt to something different. For those of us who didn't, it's no problem. You just press forward, they way your thumbs go anyway, and it flicks off.
Also, the safety is a mil requirement, so no **** it's not a G model.

So the modular grip should be interchangable with my 92a1 hopefully. I thought they would make the px4 SOCOM into the next army gun.

So we shall flow a river forth to Thee.

Insider information says that it's actually a convertible lever like the PX4s and Cougars. Of course the military is going to issue it in the FS configuration but if it's anything like the PX4, it is stupid easy to switch over to G.

Beretta already revived the 92G this year. Bud's has them in stock as we speak. I own one.

It's just not on the roster so most Californians can't buy it now that SSE is closed.

Beretta didn't even bother packaging a 10-round magazine version of the 92G, whereas they do in fact sell the 92FS, M9, and M9A1 with separate catalog numbers for the 10-round versions.

                California sucks.

M9A3 will be user configurable for F or G.
