    New Ruger LC9S Pro model

Just an LC9S without mag disconnect or external safety. A lot more Glock-like

Luckily the mag disconnect is easily removed on a regular LC9S, and the external safety is difficult to accidentally engage if you never want to use it.

Had it been like this from the start I would already have one. Not that they care what I think

It also has a nicer trigger (shorter and lighter).

It was released last week to a lot of dealers.

Still waiting for somebody to post a picture of the left size so I can see how the frame & slide look without the thumb safety (while I can imagine what it'll look like, I still want visuals!)

Either way, I already bought one and will be DROS'ing it on 12/31

Found the only side pic online so far. You can still see a small notch where the safety would go, but no lever.

Yes compared to the old hammer fired LC9, but it is otherwise the same as the LC9S non-pro model.

Of course it is. It's available everywhere but California.

Ruger is shipping them and some CA FFLs have gotten them. Placer Tactical had one recently. They are available via SSE if you can find it in the next 4 days.

If you can find one in stock for sale at a FFL in the next 4 days and start the paperwork, you can buy one. Otherwise starting Jan 1, 2015, it is for sale to law enforcement only.

I got one and sold my year-old LC9. Good gun, very much like its predecessor. The new trigger is very light and crisp. No magazine disconnect is a big plus!
