Bought a G23 about 2 years ago at the Gstore. Had them put some parts in it, connector, springs, sights. Have wanted to convert it to 9mm for awhile & did so. Stormlake black SS barrel & some 19 mags. Shot it two days in a row, better than my former G19!
The smaller safety tang (on the trigger) has developed a hitch in it, been there awhile. Kinda crispy sometimes, sticks lightly & annoying. After shooting today, decided I'd stop in & see if I could have it looked at. 4PM on a Friday & they styled me up. Smith took it apart & adj. the connector. Suggested the LW isn't as good as the Glock 4.5 connector. I got to my truck & changed my mind, decided to try another part. They installed the 4.5 & cleaned my dirty pistol...Got a fat discount too! Thanks guys!!!
Added; Trigger was a bit spongy with a weird break. Now it comes back, stiffens a tad & is crisper. Worth every penny of 15$ I think I'll shoot again mon.
