XD-Compact Weapon Light?

XD-Compact Weapon Light?

what do you guys suggest? i called surefire and they say the rail on the compact is to short for the x300, and will only fit service and tactical models.
Is this true? if so what lights will fit?

the only thing i want out of a light is to be able to use a tail cap for momentary and on/off.

You may want to purchase the smaller version but I like the brighter light.
