    Buying a CZ

You guys have convinced me. I am planning on purchasing a CZ and want to get a compact. Can you let me know what you have and why you chose your particular model? I don't want to spend the next month researching on my own when I can get it straight from the horse's mouth. Thanks in advance.

P01! Fits my hand like a glove and will most definitely get it as my next CZ.

I went with a P-01 because I couldn't find a SP-01 Tactical anywhere for a reasonable price, plus I like compacts. I also like that it's a decocker model as opposed to a safety model (I've always been a Glock guy and don't like safeties) and it has a light rail for HD or when I'm out camping or off-roading. A light alway comes in handy.

I liked it so much that I bought another 2 months after the first one just because it was a good deal.

I chose the CZ75 Compact D (PCR) 9mm. It is like the P-01 with no light rail. It has an alloy frame and decocker like the P-01. Its grip is allot like a full size CZ 75 but shorter with just enough space for all of my fingers. I also really like the look of the PCR, it just dose it for me.

The RAMI's are another option i may look at down the line. The are a bit smaller than the compact CZ's.

Have to say, my P-01 has been flawless. During the ammo drought, we ran hundreds of rounds of cheap Russian steel case stuff through it without a hiccup. The only thing I want to change are the stock sights; very mediocre.

When I got the pistol, I added a Cajun gun works reach reduction and spring kit. No complaints about either but, in retrospect, probably unnecessary.

P 01 and then send it to CZC.

PCR has no light rail and novak sights, great compact.

RAMI would be a nice G27 size subcompact.

I don't have a compact CZ, but if I were to get one, it will be the 75 Compact. It has no rail and is the safety version. I am not a big fan of decocker models.
