    Yes.

Not really, unless you want to get the 14 rounders and get a real magazine block on the follower and limit them to 10 rounds.

The spring is being compressed to the point that its hitting the side walls. Unless you're OCD or it's causing feed problems this shouldn't be a big deal.

Damn, I really was about to make a thread about this. I bought 3 ten rounders off cheaper than dirt and they rattle when they're full.

I had a feeding problem with one of them in my SP-01. Does anyone know how to fix this? Do I need to get new springs?

Are they the Mecgar ones or the promag ones? The Mecgar magazines shouldn't have this problem.

Are they the CA 10's with the tall plastic mag bases or the MecGar 10's?

If you haven't cleaned them. I would do that first.

Like someone stated earlier, whenever you use a 10 round magazine in a pistol that was originally designed to hold a lot more, issues may occur. Rattling, improper feeding, unusually tight springs are just a few of issues.

Many other platforms, such as Sig Sauer, Glock, and Smith and Wesson have this problem as well.

The only real fix is to use the "proper" magazines. Since we do not live in a free state, the only thing you can do with the new properly sized mags is to block them.

My cz mag does it. My mec gar doesn't. The mecgar is better quality imo. Haven't got to shoot it so I couldn't tell you how reliable either are, but the mec gar feels like it is made better.

Why do folks from California still patronize this store?

                            Mecgar makes CZ mags.

In any case, all my mags rattle!

The fate of the wounded rest in the hands of the ones who apply the first dressing.
