Not just full size. Compact barrels have been confirmed to work.

FS: Atlas Bipod, Custom G23 RMR slide, ETS mags, Jagerwerks, Recover G26/27, CZ Scorpion bits, etc.

I have a Storm Lake 9mm barrel for my 40 & have had 3 FTFs in my last trip to the range. No problems the first 2 trips.

I too had issues before with using conversion barrels, not particularly in the m&p but other brand pistols

i also read 1 or 2 other people say this on the internet. if it is true, obviously the idiots who screwed up their gun did something totally stupid and sent it back to s&w has ruined it for the rest of us. But there are too many success rates of people using factory 9mm barrels in their 40sw pistol vs conversion barrels.

The storm lake barrels can be tighter and more problematic. SL has a disclaimer about 115gr ammo as well.

The factory barrels are pretty lax about ammo, intentionally.

I had one stove pipe with cheapo 115gr, shot about 150 of them. Ran 300 123gr nato just fine.

I didn't see the disclaimer of 115gr but thanks for that info. Going to keep a lookout for factory 9mm barrel.

i think s&w told vendors not to sell it anymore. its impossible to find one, unless you find it in the classified here

I got that from the horses mouth when I called smith and wesson. So give them a call and you will get the same response. Have a merry Christmas.
