    question regarding handgun transfer (inheritance)

How would the process be if there father died and owned a revolver,
can the next of kin show up at a ffl and say they would like to have their fathers revolver transferred to him?

No need for the FFL visit. Use this form.

            Asked and answered.

Remember, that form works ONLY if the deceased was a CA resident and ONLY if the person transferring the gun is the actual beneficiary, by designation in a will or by operation of probate.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
