Revolver recommendations?

Looking for a Smith & Wesson of some sort. It must hold 7 or 8 rounds and barrel length 3" and under. Preferably .357 caliber & single/double action.

I think you lose a lot of speed shooting magnum out a snub.

Ruger Alaskan. Love that thing. Yeah yeah I read 357 mag but Why not 44mag
