    Ordering Handguns from PSA?

Has anyone ever Ordered a handgun from PSA (PALMETTO STATE ARMORY)?

Ive ordered from psa only parts and it wasnt a problem. I waited 2 weeks, but the wait didnt bother me. I know other people have had bad experience with them, but I havent been able to find any threads about handgun orders. I would like to know if anyone has ordered a handgun from them?

    Thanks

Personally I like grabagun better. Faster shipping and they will ship off roster handguns to CA if you are looking to get one more before the end of the year.

          They will not ship off-roster.

            Correct me if im wrong.

^ above is the site of when certain handguns will be off roster.

Is the PB9151L Springfield Armory 1911 the same as the link I provided below? If so what would mean I have until 3/19/2015 to purchase the handgun right?

http://palmettostatearmory.com/index...7/category/27/ this one to be exact.

You can buy that locally. That is a good price advertised, but by the time you add receiving cost at local dealer, it is more that what it is sold for at local shops.

I found the deal, told my FFL, he ordered it for me and had it shipped to CA. Did it for at least one other CG member too. So yes in my case they did.

I bought my Shield from PSA a little over a year ago. They shipped 8 days after order. Slow, but not slow enough to say "never again." I just ordered an M&P-22 Compact at the $249 Black Friday price and they haven't shipped yet. Not sure if they have my FFL on file, since their site doesn't have anything that tells you that. When I bought from CDDN recently, I could tell what FFL's they have on file, and the gun was on the Fed Ex truck 4 hours after the order. I'm in Minnesota, so no worries about roster.

They have backed off their "No off roster guns to CA" somewhat.

Unlike Grabagun and Kentucky Gun Co, a CA resident is NOT permitted to buy an off roster handgun from PSA.

BUT, your FFL may order the gun from them and resell to you.

So essentially your FFL needs to buy it first then you can get it.

Gotcha, will locals price match ? or is that outta question when it comes to ffl's?
Or atleast give the price online + DROS+ tax negotiated?

                          thanks!
