    A new shorty 1911

Just picked up my new Metro Arms commander size 1911, 9mm in blue from Grant at Ammo Paradise. I like full size 1911s , but a little shorter barrel is ok for 9mm.

Here it is. Just attached a picture. I knew I was going to get it without a picture, but I was eating lunch at the time of the first post. Anaheim is a long way from SFV especially in the rain.

                Picture added.
Also, check out Ammo Paradise in Anaheim if you have not done so yet. Their prices are amazing and the service was great. No lines, taking numbers or elbowing your way to the counter and they charge $00 (Nothing) for SSE.

Are you sure that gun is commander size?

Looks full size to me. Regardless, I do like the 1911's.

                    Congrats!

Thanks SLO1911Fan. You are right. My bad.

Mine has a shorter barrel and is the commander size (4.25"). I am still beat from a 3 and a half hour drive in heavy traffic and rain.
I looked for a stock picture on the net since I am not savy enough to take a picture and transfer it to my computer quickly. I was so excited about finding a nice picture of a blued one that I did not notice the goverment size in picture.

                      this one shows it:

roll down the page and you will see the blue one.

That sure looks like a full size 1911 (the one pictured in the OP.)

Those are some nice looking guns. And look to be priced well too. Wonder who makes their frames and slides.
