Last SSE Please Help!

I am being really indecisive right now and I would like your assistance in deciding between two guns: HK VP9 or Walther PPQ. I've recently fondled a PPQ and enjoyed the fit and size. I have never felt up the VP 9 so I can't make an informed decision on the HK, other than the "HyPE". Please vote, most votes wins, thanks.

If you like the PPQ get the PPQ, always go with the option where you can thoroughly inspect the gun before purchase. If you are getting a VP9 chances are they are always sold out so you're basically buying blind.

Trigger - PPQ M2 by a landslide.
Sights - VP9
Ergos - I'd say tied, maybe VP9 by a hair of a hair.
Aftermarket - VP9
Better shooter based on my experience - PPQ M2

Just find a place that will rent them, put 100 rounds through each and it should become more clear. Don't buy blind as Tom suggested, that would be a mistake.

p.s - I'm talking mostly about the 5'' PPQ which I have experience with. I'm sure the 4'' is fine too.

I went with the VP9. Had a chance to dry fire a PPQ last weekend though and the trigger was much nicer.

I have not shot either of these but based on my impressions dry firing them at the Store, I would take the PPQ, especially the 5" version.

I was able to hold and dry fire both a VP9 and PPQ (5") side-by-side at my LGS. Although the ergos were similar the trigger, especially the shorter reset, on the PPQ is what sold me.
Some people are put off by the polymer sights on the PPQ but I don't mind them; in fact I like the fact that they're adjustable. After shooting 450 rounds of various ammo through the PPQ, I went ahead and ordered the 4" as my last SSE.

The PPQ M2, IMO, has the best trigger out of the new generation of striker fired pistols (Gen 4 Glock, VP9, P320, etc). It really is something to pull and feel, just a different experience from other guns.

Well, I'll be of no help. I bought them all. I jailed a VP9 earlier today. I have 3 PPQs (2 x 5", 1 x 4") and a P320 Carry.

Trigger by a landslide? Um No. Slightly "crispier", but LONGER travel. Reset = SAME. Try again.

lol. The PPQ M2 trigger is much, much better. The VP9 trigger is not crappy but it's clearly grittier than the PPQ M2 trigger with a not as good reset. Have you honestly fired both guns? I find it hard to believe that you have if you think the only difference is one being "crispier" (what does that even mean?!). The PPQ M2 is pretty much a match/competition gun out of the box. The VP9 aint.

I don't know anyone besides the most rabid HK fanboys who would agree with you, but you are free to believe what you want in the face of dozens of published magazine gun reviews, and thousands of owners who own both, even if you are clearly wrong.

In his defense all of the reviews that compared these two guns(IE: basically every VP9 review), all said that the PPQ's trigger is only marginally or slightly better. Not one has said anything about a landslide.
