Does anyone else hate 115gr 9mm?

It shoots way off on my GLOCK 17 with Warren sights, so I just shoot 124gr NATO spec. This goes for all of my nines (M-9 and G.19). The 124g NATO seems to function well and I am happy with its price, so yeah.

I haven't actually tried any other 9mm loads yet.

Me and kids have total of (3) G17 and I have to say love the 115 grain factory or reloads.
    No problems and accurate

      Works fine in my G17, G19, G35 w/9mm barrel, and XD-s.

Works great with all my 9s. Maybe because I only shoot my own reloads.

I've shot 1000's of rds of 115 gr and a fair amount of 124. Honestly, I can't tell any difference in any of my 9mm's.

There was a 10" difference. I don't know if the sights contributed to it as well, seeing that Warren/Sevignys are taller.

I love 115 gr. for all day shooting. My family of Glock 9mm's take them well. I use something heavier for HD/SD, however.

115 grain S&B and 115 grain Blazer brass works great with my Sigs and HK's. I didn't care much for Independence 115 grain.

The reason I started this is because I am wondering if I should give it another chance for the range.

The range was like 10 or 15 yds. I think 10.

Im not the best pistol shot, but I also know what I shoot like normally. (That instance was abnormal). I was with another person and it also shot all over the place for them.

Or maybe it was because it was ****ty Winchester bulk 115? It did cycle just fine.

IMO there is no way a 9g difference in bullet weight will make a gun shoot way off. If that gun was in a ransom rest I bet they go through the same hole, it's probably just mental.

115 isn't very accurate but it's cheap. If you get good at shooting the crappy 115 switching too good ammo makes you feel like you can't miss anything. That's how I felt one day shooting some free really good quality ammo at plates. I was knocking them down really fast, I felt I couldn't miss. Back to the crappy ammo I had to be super careful to stick to my basic gun handling skills.

Could be your sights. I had same issues when I had warren sights until I realised that they aren't exactly target sights. I now use trijicon hd and couldnt be happier. If you are only target shooting ditch the warrens unless you plan on competition shooting.

No issues 115 gr factory ammo, or 115gr bullets in any of my 9mm pistols.
