CZC 75 SA - Normal Discolorations?

I know CZ are pretty rough but I wanted to share a few photos and get opinions.

Notice the brown markings, that's not rust is it? Haven't really noticed such an off balance on the coating before.

Additionally, will that bur on the machining effect anything?

Everything else on the gun is good, lock up is solid. Coating looks like a mess though. Any of you CZ guys see anything similar before?

I'm comparing my regular 75B SA and mine doesn't have any discoloration like what you have pictured. Mine is still new with only 100rds fired.

My P01 bought in 2010 was like that, including the exterior of the barrel. As far as I know the pistol is still ticking along with its new owner (a friend of mine).

CZ q/c is crap lately. My compact had to be sent back 2x to fix the reset issue. Gun companies are rushing production to capitalize on the buying frenzy market since 2012.

To answer the OPs question: it looks like RUST. I would profusely put CLP, then scrub it away using a scouring pad. Then dry completely. Smear the affected area with a thin layer of high-quality grease.

My 75B SA doesn't have any discoloration. I bought it earlier this year.

What's with the huge gouge in the third pic? Next to the smaller hole?

Doesn't CZ use like a rust colored packing grease? When I got my SP01 I was scared it was rust, but after cleaning it with some CLP it came right off and never returned. That being said, if it wasn't there before then its probably rust.

No idea how that got there. Doesn't effect the barrel or action. I'm going to ask CZC if they will want to smooth it out.

Yeah my gun had a lot of grease and oil on it. But those spots were dry. It's a brand new gun. I talked with CGW and they don't think it's anything to be worried about. They said they see CZ with lots of issues passing through. Solid guy david at CGW is. Didn't even buy my gun from him, it's modded from another shop, and he is still giving me feedback. Might even send my gun to him to add his extended firing pin.

Still waiting to here back on what CZC will do. Hopefully it's not rust. I think it's more of a discoloration during machining and the oils involved.

Mine doesn't look like that. It could be light rust. Just oil it and wipe it down. It doesn't look pitted, so you shouldn't have a problem.

The burr in the dust cover won't hurt the gun, but it will snag any cleaning patches you use to clean that area.

I finely go through and inspect mine as well, but sorry you have the worst luck with guns.

My CZ's have machine marks, but not errand gouges, and no discoloration like that.

Nah, just that his standard is spot on. He paid good money for a brand new gun, then he rightfully expects an unblemished, brand new gun.

                              Reasonable questions.

CZ's are ruff. If it functions properly, i would scrub the discoloration off and shoot it. I have seen this on several of my CZ's to varying degrees. In my case it has always come rite off.

The gouge in picture 2 is in a non contact area. If its bugging you OP carefully file it flat.

CZ polycoats vary from pistol to pistol. Some are great some are not, but many have the spattering inside the frame, this is pretty standard.

I do not like sending my pistols in over internal imperfections that do not effect function. Might just be me.

Nice pics btw. How about some of your new CZ from the outside, fully assembled.
