Sig Brace at the range?

I know the legality of the Sig AR Arm Brace is still heavily debated, but has anybody brought it to the range before, specifically in the SoCal/LA area? What did the RSOs say? Was there any issue?

Ya,mines attached to me leg. I walk into the range like its a peg leg, then just do a long stretch at the firing line and shoot like that.

Is your 14.5 pinned to 16? Is your magazine pinned to only hold 10? Are you shouldering that sig brace? I never been to a range where they question about your firearm... Unless I bring a neat firearm and they ask if they can hold it.

As I posted recently, I routinely shoot at Angeles almost exclusively Thursdays, and on Thursdays in particular, as everyone knows, the rifle range is subject to being closed to civilians at 1230 so that SWAT can train, so from about 1200 to 1230, there can be as little as a few LE, or an entire squad of LE on the rifle line, unloading their gear, and preparing to take over. Outside of Thursday, there are LE still around.

To date, I have never been questioned about the SB15-shod pistol I discharge from the shoulder, and in fact, not even a second look. As noted above, RO's are busy actively stealing your brass when your back in turned, checking chambers when the line is closed, and looking for steel core ammunition.

I shoot my ar pistol with the SB15 at FT3 and they are fine with it just no slings is what they ask.

Most LEOs don't really care about firearms compliance with California's moronic firearms laws unless they are already busting someone. I know several cops pretty well and none care about 30 round mags, bullet buttons, AR pistols. Not saying there aren't LEOs who do care, but few seem to make firearms compliance a big part of their job.

I see them often at Burro in Azusa. I've never seen the ROs say anything to the guys with them.

Saw a guy at the range shouldering a brace and firing it like its a sbr. It was a sight to see the flash and loud sharp crack of that short barrel.
