    Smith and wesson model 52

My dad has a model 52 he wants to sell, I don't know much about these but do know they are a little pricey.

I told him I would list it here for him, what are they worth in good condition ?

Are they a sought after gun still these days?

    Collectible, discontinued model.
Blue book of gun values is #1 source of detailed info on any gun.
Gunbroker, Armslist, & other auction sites to see current representative value.
sigpicDon't ask how many guns I own, I lost count.

In the third edition of the Standard Catalog of S&W It says $1100 NIB $950 EXC $700 VG. The book is a few years old. I hope this helps.

Keep in mind that the Model 52 is roster and AWB exempt. That's going to boost value in CA.

You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
        Come on...what harm??

If you sell it here, be patient because it may take awhile to find a buyer. Don't go below market value and if you let it ride, you will find a buyer.

Saw a minty one in a LGS recently...they wanted 1,300. I thought it a bit high at that. $1,100 seems right to me. These will have a limited audience.
