    Just another newbie question

Hi all, I am new here as well as not new but it's been years since I had a desire or time for shooting. During the late 60's into the 70,s I shot a lot of guns but life took me in a different direction. That being said I am interested in a carry gun that is both capable as well as small enough to carry in a pocket etc. I tend to be attracted to the SW line as I had some experience with them years ago. The wife has a Glock 19 that she has had for 10 years but that's hers. I am looking for suggestions and or input from folks experienced with CCW and California. Thanks for any ideas that you guys share.

Well if you like S&W than I recomend the Shield in 9mm its on the roster very reliable and acurate. The Shield is a small gun and easy to carry but I would not consider it a pocket gun.

Now the Sig P938 is outstanding and can fit easily in most pockets. However it's not on the roster so you will need to SSE one before the end of the year, or PPT a used one.

The Shield is good however I do recomend the Sig over the S&W overall.
    Hope this helps.

Ford, thanks for the info and thoughts. I am still in the process of learning, the Ca compliance list is a pain. When I got my first gun there wasn't a list in fact I could go to a hardware store heading for the desert and buy 22 ca ammo at 16 years old. Thats where I learned to shoot as it were.
