No. PPT's are exempt from the 1 in 30 rule. The 1 in 30 applies when you are purchasing something from dealer inventory.

Maybe, since I your location is LA.

PPT is exempt from the 30 day rule.

Just do not do the PPT with in the City of Los Angeles, as PPT's in the City's jurisdiction count against the 30 rule.

So for instance Turners Reseda I will have to wait till my new DROS date but what about Burbank Guns Direct? I know Passadena falls off LA so I can go do a transfer there right?

Just read this and it does not say anything about Los Angeles being exempt.

... which is because that is a State of CA web site.

City of LA has it's own 1 in 30 law; PPT is, indeed, affected.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

So is Pasadena, Burbank or Reseda affected by the 1-30 PPT? Im in the county of Los Angeles not the City, I live in Van Nuys CA.

You are screwed if you go to Turners in Reseda.

I did a PPT at Aegis in Burbank and it did not count against my 1 in 30.

I also did a PPT at Turners in Pasadena and it also did not count against my 1 in 30.

You can't order ammo online and you have to give your fingerprint if you buy ammo in City limits.

You cannot PPT or sell a compact handgun in the City of LA. Apparently you cannot sell holsters for them either.

Now they are trying to pass a law that your handguns must be secured whenever you are not using them.

Just another way to harras law abiding gun owners.

OP, as far as PPT not counting in 1 per 30, Burbank is good to go. Pasadena as well.

Reseda and Van Nuys (Target Range) are not.
