    S & W 41

It appears the Smith & Wesson 41 is not on the list of approved guns by California. Does anyone know if this gun can be SSE?

    Thanks for any info.

And... it's been made for so many years that it's not too hard to find one by PPT or consignment. I bump into them all the time, even some like NIB, but have yet to buy one. I've shot them, great guns, incredibly well made - just never pulled the trigger on a purchase.

As stated, it's considered an Olympic shooter as is the S&W Model 52, they are exempt from The List.

Exempt from the roster and AWB, so threaded barrels are GTG.

I've got one from 1984...excellent shooter, exceedingly well made.

Mine is an '86, bought NIB a year or so ago from a fellow Cal Gunner.

I love it. The best .22LR pistol I've ever shot. If you're even thinking about owning a .22LR pistol for target and plinking use, and you can swing the cost, give the 41 serious thought. It's fantastic.

Love the original 7" barrel w/ iron sights, so decided to add a 5" barrel for a red dot, had it vented to reduce weight.
