    Jericho 941

Whats up everyone? Heres my story for the day...stop by my local shop yesterday just out browsing and came across a Ruger GP100, so I decided to get it because haven't had much luck finding one (see it come back later its gone) lately in my area. As I was closing the deal something on the bottom shelf caught my eye, so I asked the clerk about it and if I could check it out. It was a Jericho 941 by IMI.
First off I notice the weight (I like) reminded me of my CZ's. The clerk told me it was both 9mm and .41 ae. I stupidly tried to correct him by saying .40 cal (you learn something new everyday). Then came the price ... $1100.00. It comes with 2-barrels 9mm/.041, 100 rounds 50/50, and 2 mags ea.
Been thinking on getting this but I sorta feel its over priced, but I really want this in my collection. What's your guys opinion???

I was looking jerichos as well but slide safety really turns me off, if it was a frame mounted safety I may consider it but at 1100 that's too rich for my tastes but to compare I did see another Jericho in the market place with both 9mm and 41ae barrels going for around 1500

Pass. These things should cost $500. $650 tops if it's the original Jericho.

Yes, one Jericho has been for sale for $1500 for quite some time with no takers. I don't know what bottomless pocket Jericho collector that guy is waiting for.

If you're a shooter and not a collector, ask yourself why you would possibly want the .41 kit. It's close to .40 and more expensive.

I have passed on several in various calibers around the $500 mark.

Get a Witness instead. It's pretty much the same thing but made in Italy instead of Israel. A witness match elite is cheaper and a better gun.

I wouldn't pay 1100 for that, unless you're a collector and you just want it. Especially the .41 AE, I mean that's basically an obsolete round so no point in having it unless you're a collector.

I like the link to the Canik Ingram posted.

If I was looking for one, I'd just find a new MR imported IWI model with the rail.

As far as Caniks... I really want the TP9 SA now... but I'll be happy with my last 2014 buy, a PPQ 5".

I wonder how the Shark differs from the IMI, IWI's. Is the price different for the Canik?

                Love my Jericho..

Got it for $500.. solid shooter and due to the weight there's almost no recoil.. women love shooting it.

I want to hard chrome it or do something else.. but Im worried because the serial number is so faint.. barely stamped in..

Yea, could have gotten something else, but it's cool that it's from Israel

I agree $1100 was too pricey so intend to look elsewhere. I just gotta be patient (easier said than it is to do ... here in California). Its a fact that none of the cloned CZ are on the list and I figured because of that and you just don't find them very easily was the reasoning behind the $$$$.

The Jericho 941 is a collectible now. Look around for an IMI Baby Desert Eagle.
Exact same gun without the high price tag. I had an early Baby Desert Eagle in .41AE when it came out. That's about the same time .40S&W hit the market and killed .41AE. Last I saw, if you can find it, .41AE ammo was about $50 a box.

Just keep your eyes open. Like I said I've seen many for sale in the $500s. Last month I came very close to getting a full-size steel version in .40 for $450 on consignment. Someone beat me to it by a day.

A couple months ago I made an offer of $450 on another full-size steel one in 9mm. Seller told me he sold it for $500.

They show up in consignment cases at gun shops fairly regularly. I saw one at the Chino Hills Turner's a couple weeks ago (another .40) but somehow they were asking $700 for it with 0 mags. They might still have it if you want to call and make an offer.

If it were me, I'd probably pay up to something of the nature of $850 for a pristine 941 with conversion, and go full blown. I know I could pay more or less, but that's just what I would pay for something like that. It's a beautiful gun by the way.
