hard chrome plating?

i'm thinking about hard chrome plating a sig 225/p6 slide. any idea on who does this in northern California. and i am also wondering about cost. any help would be greatly appreciated.

i just want a duo-tone finish it doesn't have to be hard chrome. just something that won't rub off like the dura coat i sparyed on last year.

So your gonna take a stainless steal blued slide and put chrome on it?
Why not just polish it?

Did you properly dura coat it, wait for a month or heat treat it after a really good cleaning? Do you dura coat often or research how to do it properly? Cause the people I know LOVE that stuff and swear by it.

first i'm pretty sure its carbon steel and the frame is alloy. second the frame is fine, my problem is the edges on the slide wear in a holster. the controls are starting to wear as well.

The slide is not stainlees and can be done. Hard chrome is not the same as "chrome". Two different end results.
