    Gen4 G30 vs G30sf

For the glock guys. Please share your wisdom.
Is there any real difference in recoil management between the Gen4 G30 and the Gen3 G30sf.
I only have one SEE spot left and I'm trying to decide between the Gen4 and Gen3 G30's or Gen4/Gen3(sf) G21. I'll be running a 10mm conversion out of the G21.

I haven't noticed a difference, that double recoil spring really doesn't feel any different. I had the same choice and went with the Gen 4 30 over the 30 sf, because without the back straps, the Gen 4 is the same dimensions. And because eff you, CA roster.

Both Gen3 & Gen4 30's run a dual spring, so recoil should be the same.
Just maybe, if you add more mass (larger back straps) to the Gen4, perceived recoil will feel less.

Just get the Gen4 just for the texture and extra magazine.

The Gen3 20/21 has a single spring, and the Gen4 20/21 are dual spring now. Does the dual spring help with the longer slides, I can not say as I never tried them back to back. I hear net chatter of no.

But just get the 4th gen because you can.

If you are planning to get a CCW, you should look at the 30S. Shoots very nice.

If I decide to use my last SSE slot on a Glock G30 variant it would be the Gen 4.

I concur. Shot one recently and was pleasantly surprised. Didn't think I would appreciate a gun that small in .45.
