What do you mount on the picatinny rail on those gray boxes?

I've often wondered the same thing, but in addition to the accessories, those boxes seem to get buried in the back of my closet anyway.

According to Springfield, they added those to the cases just for looks and not for functionality.

More rails, we all need more rails in life... soon samsung, lg, and apple will be putting full length rails on phone cases as well. I attached spare rail sections to my steering wheel so I can clip on my extra mags pouches for when shtf, I put them on the side of the computer monitor to clip on a nifty pen cup, and I fabricated a special toilette roll holder to attach to a rail so I could have rails in my bathroom.

Springfield just figured it out that we all need more rails everywhere before we did that's all.
