    VP9, Should I?

Took off from work early today to do some window shopping at my LGS. Wasn't looking for anything special and didn't expect to see anything worthwhile left to SSE. I was hoping to find a metal framed 9mm that would pique my interest but saw nothing. Looked at a CZ75, M&P and a G29 for ****s and giggles, nothing special though. The guy helping me then pulls out a VP9 and when I picked it up it felt like it was made to fit my hand.

I didn't expect to buy any more polymer's, I've been trending towards metal framed guns lately but I think I have to have this pistol. The price is right at $699 but I have no idea what I'm getting to.

Anyone have any advice and experience with this model? I've only ever shot Glocks and 1911's.

Yes. Think of it like a G-17 that fits your hand. And hits what you aim at. With a nice trigger.

Honestly, I haven't read a thing about it. I know there's been a ton of posts about the VP9 but I figured it was just a fad.

VP9 sucks didn't you hear? The trigger is trash and you'll be lucky if it doesn't blow up in your hands. BTW - can I get the address of the store that you visited?

I've got a Gen 4 G17 and the trigger on the VP9 was soooo much nicer.

its a good gun...I have the VP9 and the PPQ and also the CZ 75 SP-01

                    I rank it like this
                    1. CZ 75 SP-01
                    2. PPQ
                    3. VP9

I like the overall feel and comfort of the SP-01...so smooth and so nice to shoot. I think the PPQs trigger is better than the VP9

Don't forget, HK has a $200 rebate for all HK firearms including the VP9.

So, you pay $699 + tax + DROS, send in your rebate and get $200 of it back.

My LGS has a VP9 in stock for $737 out the door.

                        The rebate excludes the VP9.

Holy ****! That works out to about $600 by the time it's said and done.

Oh well, still sounds like a good deal I guess.
