Here is some pics from their site showing standard markings:

Wilson Combat has been the innovator in custom pistols, long guns, and accessories since 1977. Home of the Wilson Combat 1911, EDC X9, WCP320, and more!

Usually means "wilson combat" on left side of slide and model on right side of the slide. The font cannot be change unlike a custom gun where you can omit it or change the font used.

Also most of the pistols come with the wc logo on the rear of the slide ... On the ca versions they are omitted since when submitted they were not doing this at this time.

This might not bother others but I do like the ability to change this with a custom order.

Can you link something regarding that? I heard about it but I can't find much info on that. I know Nighthawk has had to replace slides on some of their models due to them loosening, but even with those, I only found a few links as well.

Those roll marks are A-Okay with me. I would be more perturbed at the cast parts ... Sending the gun back to Wilson would be an expensive endeavor just to retrofit bullet proof parts. Not worth it imo.

I believe their QC should be good to go even with cast parts though. They take an amazing hard line with it though. I know Dan Wesson has changed their internals and parts in the past to current new forged parts that they produce, just wish Wilson would have done the same.

Either way, I am still getting a Wilson Tactical Elite. Only reason I chose it over the Predator at NHC is that it comes with a magwell, resale value if it ever comes down to that, and customer support.

I really don't like how the CA Supergrades even come with cast parts though ... bleh ...stupid roster.

Thank you for all the replies. According to the seller it has about 200 rounds through it. Mint. No scratch, no blemishes. He said he got it for $3500 "new" so i felt like 2800 was a good deal
