    SIG P320

    Hello all.

    I am a happy owner of a SIG P320 in .40.

I am intersested in getting a 9mm barrel, but can't seem to find them anywhere on-line.

Anyone know where I can find them, or are they not available yet?

    Thanks,

I dont think any of the barrels, frames, kits, etc are available yet. Sig is still rolling out all the different models. I would expect we don't see anything until all of the different models/calibers are released.

how do you like shooting the P320? I need to buy a last SSE and its down to P320 or Sphinx Sub or Compact.

I want the 320 for the different barrel options 357 and 45

will that be just a barrel or slide also? if so it could cost $300 each caliber

I would think, except for a few instances like 357/40 you may need the full kit including barrel, slide and frame to accommodate smaller or larger magazines. Lookup P250 exchange kits for pricing. I imagine the costs will be the same or similar for the P320.

I can't start DROS on my P320 .40 Carry till Dec 1st, but I really liked the way it felt in my hand. Grip was very similar to my P226 Enhanced Elite .40

The conversion kit is a slide/barrel/frame and mag. Pretty much everything but the FCU.

Sig 320? You were too good for the blasters all the other mandalorians use?

              Oh yeah, I just liberated a P320 Compact/Medium in 9MM.

Someone on a SIG forum contacted SIG and was told the caliber x-change kits will be available in January 2015 with a MSRP of $303. My FFL scoffed at that date as wishful thinking though and I trust him.

10 years ago I bought a 22LR kit for my Mitchel Gold series
$295 in 2004 that was a Magazine, slide and barrel in steel. the rest of the gun was S.S.

Now I see and understand. IMO the conversions will be minimum $350-400
knowing you keep the Firing and trigger piece.

Man I love seeing 320 pics where they are broken down. Such a cool idea. Unfortunately I am too broke to get one, but I can dream

I don't know. Sig has been really good about their p320 timeline being accurate. We got the P320 release date, .40 release, Compact release, and FDE all within the time they told us.

since you have a .40 you may be able to just get the barrel (not confirmed) not sure if the extractor would need to be swapped. if you can just drop the barrel here you go as the assumption is the 250/320 barrel should be the same.

edit: looked at the price for probably $100 more I would hold out for the xchange kit as you'd have the correct sights and the kit comes with a mag.

Negative. If you are doing a 0.40 to 357 sig swap, you can just swap the barrel. But if you are going from 9mm to 0.40 or vice versa, you will need the entire conversion kit.

Sig started showing the 556 Xi rifle back in Shot 2013. Again at Shot 2014, albeit updated and somewhat redesigned. It just started shipping to dealers a few months ago. That should give you some idea of their actual timelines.

The P320 is still new. Shown at Shot 2014 and just hitting the market a few months ago. It will be a while when parts and parts kits start reaching the market. It's a good sized company, but look at the depth of their entire product line. That's a lot of stuff to make for just one factory.

Is the sig p320 sub compact frame the same size roughly as a Shield?

P320 subcompact will be wider, most likely. Closer in size to Glock and M&P compacts. All are double stack, not single like the Shield. Plenty of videos online of the P250 subcompact.
