HK45C OD Green?

So I have settled on this for my last SSE, but where do I get one? I want to take advantage of the rebate.

The regular HK45C does not seem to be much of a sale, looks like pricing has gone up about $200 this last month, "like new ones" are still way cheaper than local places for the new ones, even after the $200 rebate. But if I could get one in OD green I'd bite.

Otherwise still hoping for a stainless Sphinx SDP, but it does not look like that will happen before the end of the year. Finances are feeling a bit depleted so my last purchase will have to be a reasonable one

Allhkparts has them preorder. I called and the rep said he should be getting them in the first week of dec, keep in mind, this is a 2015 gun and the rebate won't work.

Why won't the rebate work? It says HK45C - all models.

I just confirmed it, found the post on HK Pro's forum, and also emailed Allhkparts.com it's not eligible.

Damn, I thought I had made up my mind. I don't think I can justify $300 more just to get a nice color, maybe $100 more tops. All my guns are black or stainless anyways, I guess I'll just have to stick with that.

Since I have never held one, I do wonder if the HK45c is even reasonable for a CCW.
