First of all, thanks to Grant at Ammo Paradise for awesome and friendly service. I got my P220 today and immediately took it home to lube it up and went to the range.
This thing is beautifully made. Mine happens to be 100% American made, there's no Made in Germany mark on the frame as they usually are. This doesn't bug me at all.
When I first shot it, it was high and to the left at 7 yards. I had to move the rear sight to the right quite a ways to make it hit center at 7 and 10 yards.
I'm not sure if it's because I'm not used to shooting Sigs (this is my first experience with a P series) or if there's something else off, such as the front sight, but I'll guess I'll play with it more next week. Hopefully my RO that owns a P220 is there and can tell me if it's me or the sights (most likely it's me).
Pros: Very nicely made, no rough machining, etc. Very accurate. Looks great. The SRT has a ridiculously short reset.
Cons: The sights seem off (could be that it's really me though). The trigger hurts after a while due to the hook. I'm used to flat triggers, so maybe that's why. Slide wouldn't look back most of my session, but I think it's cuz the recoil spring is fresh.
Overall, this is a great gun. I can see why people enjoy their Sigs so much.
All shots done SA, I'l try out the DA pull next time, I just wanted to get this sighted in:

This thing is pretty damn accurate. It looks like a 1911, but feels a bit different. The grips fill in the palms of my hand better than my Baer for instance, and the beavertail is really comfortable. I couldn't tell any difference in recoil between the P220 and my 1911s, but I didn't have them side by side.
