first 1911

I just ordered a sig scorpion 5" 1911 as it came recommended by a few people as a good, well priced 1911. I'm kind of having some second thoughts as I had a sig p229 btfo before and hated it. Anyone have any thoughts/ experience with the platform??? Thank you

You made a great choice. The Sig won't be your last 1911, but it's one that you're not going to want to get rid of. It's a very well-made workhorse, and one of the best bangs for your buck in the gun world. You'll love it.
