thats basically an xdm. I sincerely hope theyre not building up hype for a half *** upgrade between the old xd and xdm. if they are someone needs to get fired.

I like the grip safety it's why I bought the XDs.

I appreciate the grip safety, especially when re-holstering. Since my thumb is unwrapped from the grip when I reholster, the grip safety gives me an extra level of security in case something catches on the trigger while the gun is on its way back into the holster.

Of course it's all really irrelevant for us in CA, as this isn't (whatever it is) going to be released before 1/1/15.

On the other hand I don't plan to stay here for more than another year, tops.. so

a line of XD/XDm's in 10mm would be sweet.

but I'll give a +1 with the "it's something stupid" comment above.
