He said he was surprised that RG didn't have any. He had no knowledge of which stores got them. Good luck hunting it down. I hope you get one.
Thanks for the report. I wonder where all the MPXs are. Surely shops have received them by now, but I can't find a single one for sale yet online.

Yeah - I'd expect to see at least a few on gunbroker, listed for crazy prices.

I stopped by RG yesterday and had an opportunity to speak with the Sig rep. He stated that RG had 100 on order and was surprised they didn't have one to show. He didn't know when they would get their shipment though. I think they will show up in a couple weeks. The tacos were delicious.

For many people the difference between 5 weeks and 6 weeks makes all the difference!

I have searched the internet for any sightings, but haven't had any luck. I guess we won't be able to make the SSE deadline

What about 2015 new SSE? will there be any hope?
I really like this new mpx but all my 2014 SSE are full. Well maybe a used one
will hit the market in years to come.

Surely wish Sig and other gun makers would ship their new models to CA before
the end of 2014 SSE B.S. There is a lot of money to be had in CA in gun sales
and seem it all will end in Jan 2015.

There are talks of SSE 2.0, don't know if they're credible though.....

The lower looks a lot like an AR lower, not sure if the dimensions are exactly the same, but once a bolt action or break top AR pistol uppers are available, one can see if it will fit the MPX serialized lower.

But... the MPX will never be made as a single shot unless we get Sig's full cooperation or someone makes an MPX lower clone.

Hmmm, wondering if there is ever enough sales for Lancer Systems (the contracted maker of Sig MPX/MCX lowers) to do this. Besides, Lancer most likely will be held to non-competition clause in their contract with Sig for a few years if not forever.

So our only hope is really to topple the CA Handgun Roster.

                      Lancer Systems L15 lower:

                      Sig MPX:

Notice the ambidextrous bolt release? And Lancer confirmed their Raddlock-made mag lock will work on the MPX.

Per the Sig rep today, they will not ship till after SHOT SHOW in January. =(
I have one SSE slot left and was holding out just in case but now will focus on something else.

Yup, I read the same thing on arf.com. OK, that frees up the funds for the MCX for me then.

                            Sig MPX update?

You guys might still be able to get one if they release the 16" barreled version. They had some pics of it on their Instagram a week or two back. It's a true 16" barrel not the baffle setup that was earlier talked about. It comes with a MP5 style collapsing stock.

I think I might get the pistol version when they come out and maybe SBR it.

Can you post the image? I only see the MCX and the MPX with baffled can and collapsible stock.

Sounds like it would be a 9mm 556XI. I wanted 9mm in pistol since I already have the 556XI rifle.
