German 226 and 225 price check

Need a price opinion on: 95%+ condition all original West German P225 ( NOT P6). Sig Import with 3 factory magazines. Sig P226 std model 9mm. Made in Germany 95%+ condition. Comes in original box, manual, Target and 3 factory 10 round magazines. Both have less than 500 rounds of federal factory jhp ammo. PS. Guns are really clean and original and there is no pressure to sell for the seller.

Blue Book of Gun Values shows this for your guns:

    P225
    100% 98% 95%
    $595 $525 $450

    P226
    100% 98% 95%
    $885 $730 $625

    Hope that helps.

I think Ca. needs it's own blue book prices, because they are always inflated over the rest of the country. Then you add Nor Cal. which has even higher inflated prices. Both 95% prices are low for Ca. and the 225 price is 200 too low for a 95% condition.

Look at the current market price for new ones,, and a used one should be at 70% of that price or lower if the gun is in excellent condition. People pay waaaay too much for used guns.

Sold my AB 225, 99% for $800 last month.
Test fired only, about 100 rounds when new.
That's about the going rate for LNIB in CA.
I bought it new yrs ago & wrote SIG to get it on the list way back when.
Have never seen a beater here for the prices listed in the blue book post.

It's more like, if they are priced to high they sit there for months and don't sell. If they are reasonably priced, then they sell quickly.

What year is the P225? Does it have original box, manual, and especially, the test target? Does it have holster wear? If everything is intact, with no holster wear, triple matching serial number, and the correct year, it can go for $800 to $900.

Of course, just like any "collector's" item, the big money is in finding the right buyer.

My dad got a west German p226 like 5 months ago at a gun auction down here. Paid just around $600 in really good condition with original box, and stuff it came with from new.

Ca pricing via ppt is totally different than the free states. You can buy those guns for 500 to 700 in other states but they command a premium here because of the roster. Truly mint I'd pay 800 to 1000 for them if I was still on the market. Only going up after sse ends since that shuts out the possibility of getting out of state unless leo.
