    Raging Judge SSE?

Thinking about using one of my last slots for one, but have some questions. Can it even be done? How do you block a cylinder? Also, cost aside, any actual owners have any thoughts as to whether or not it's a fun gun? I want something with some oomph to it and seems to be pretty flexible being able to handle .454 Casull, .45 LC, and .410 Shot Shells. Last question would be 3" or 6". I don't plan on using it for carry, so I'm thinking the 6" would be a better choice for accuracy and muzzle velocity, but the kick (both literally and figuratively) might be more fun on a 3".

I need one think so because of the ability to shoot. 410 and is considered a Short Barreled Shotgun.

Off list revolvers can be purchased via SAE (Single Action Exemption) not SSE. The double action sear has to be disabled so that the revolver fires in single action mode only. After delivery is complete the double action sear can be reinstalled/repaired.

As stated above the Taurus "Judge" line of revolvers chambered in .45/.410 are a no-no in California even with SAE because they are considered to be both short barreled shotguns and revolving cylinder shotguns, both of which are verboten without going into AOW territory.

Not true, there are legally acquired Taurus Judge revolvers in California without any AOW papers.

            Why would you want one?

I shot it and just don't see the point. It's not a light weight snub and 410 doesn't do anything special so what's its purpose other than "it's different"?

and how is that don't without being considered a CA-defined SBS. Just because some dealers sold Taurus Judges, (and often to cops because they were roster-exempt), doesn't mean that they were legally acquired.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Because California said you cant have one.

As strange as it may sound, one of my main interests is in using it for skeet shooting. Which is why I would think the 6" version makes most sense, but it seems from the responses that there aren't any actual California owners with experience to prove/disprove whether our not my ideas are any good and it would seem quite the stretch just to even get it.

If I could get one I would. Wouldn't it make a decent HD weapon? Especially with some of the rounds made for it. And then CA says you can't have one so then there's that.

Can't get what paperwork done in time? It would be an AOW done via SAE not SSE.
