    Buying my first gun!

I'm buying a Glock 17 Gen 4, I shot a couple different handguns a few weeks ago with my buddy and the one I was the most accurate with and that felt the best was his Gen 3 Glock 19. I'm getting the 17 because I have larger hands a feels better then the 19 imo. Didn't really plan on buying a handgun but my buddy was telling me that January 1st in California they're doing single shot exemption so I only have a couple months to buy a brand new Glock 17. Have the cash just shopping around now to compare prices. I plan on doing some slight modifications to the gun(undercut trigger guard, Trijicon HD night sights, maybe stippling), been watching a ton of YouTube videos on 17s. This will be my first gun purchased so I'm really excited. Anyone from Sacramento area recommend places to buy guns from? Thanks!

Couple months to do an SSE? Try like 2 ...

Lets just say you ordered one and received and SSE/DROS it on Nov 19th. You cannot DROS another one until Dec 20th. It will be too late to get a third one after that.

The Gen 4s can only be SSE'd until Dec 31, but the Gen 3s will continue to be available next year.

For gen 4s, Placer Tactical in Lincoln or MTG in Elk Grove or Tracy Rifle & Pistol if you're willing to make a drive. For Gen 3s, every shop has them but Armory Outpost in Rancho Cordova, MTG, River City in S. Sacto, and The Gun Range in N. Highlands are some of the better shops.

              I only need a Glock 19.

Hate how this Glock 19 feels. I'm going to get an M&P.

Ugh this trigger sucks i'm going to sell the M&P, I'm going to get me a 1911. I better just get the best 1911 I can so I don't buy another gun. Nighthawk GRP is it.

I miss my M&P, i'm going to get another one but a PRO CORE.

              I really love my 1911, wish I could get a 9mm version that's not a 1911. Oh a CZ SP01 Shadow Custom, Okay!

That's how many guns I have now. Oh toss in a AR15 for me wanting be an operator. That's this happens when you buy a Glock.

Well regardless of what kind of pistol you're getting, the important thing is that you're going to ruin it by stippling the frame and grinding down under the trigger guard.

That will make you shoot better for sure.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.... It always starts with "only one gun."

A Glock 17 Gen 4 is an excellent choice for your first gun. It won't be your last.
