The big difference the S/A pull is not as smooth as on the Pro Package. I think the reset is just a little bit longer. Below is what was done by CZ Custom.

I feel the difference might be the amount of polishing that was done. Just a guess.

    SA/DA Hammer Decock & Tune
    Install Hammer Decocker
    Spring Main/Hammer 13Lb
    CZ Comp Hammer
    SHRT Reset B Model
    Install FPB & Lifter Mod
    CZ 75B firing Pin
Install Short Reset Diss with TJ
    CZ 75 Disconnector SHRT F-B
    Modify disco for decocker

Now I'm going to wonder what would be the final result with CGW's upgrade path on the Tactical....if it would have been any different, or not?

I go back to Dave's post about the Tactical model:

Not everyone can do this, but if you can, this allows a firing pin block CZ, whether manual safety or decocker, to have a SA equal to any 1911, Shadow, S&W revolver etc.

    himurax,

I was not trying to give you a hard time, you know your stuff. But I wanted to point out any FP block CZ can run with any non-FP block for hundreds of dollars less. We have proven this thousands of times.

My first CZ-75B SA had all of the pre SHRT reset mods when I bought it years ago. I was able to make it better ...

Just picked up my fde p09. Trigger is not bad. I will dry fire and shoot it prior to making decisions.

My CZ's tell me the same thing. The DA on my 75 Shadow Custom is not as smooth as the DA on my 75BD/Pro Package. Keep in mind even tough your CZ's have been worked on they will likely still break in a bit. Mine did, and the triggers on both have lighted up ever so slightly from use.

Well my trigger pull dropped from a DA/SA of 6.25/2.25 to 5.5/~2.0 after one USPSA match.

I put in my order for a P-07 from CGW. I can't wait for it to come in for my Decemeber SSE gun! I've tried a buddy's CGW CZ and it was spectacular to say the least.

David@CGW does amazing work on CZs. Both my SP-01 & 97B practically outshoots my much more expensive 9s and 45s. It does make me feel some regret of purchasing the expensive ones.

Thanks for all the info, i think the P-09 will be my last SSE. 2nd amendment zone has one and they are going to block the factory magazine and I can order more if needed.

My CZ 75 BD came back at SA 3 lbs 4 oz and DA 7 lbs 13 oz.

David milled a Shadow hammer for me to drop and smoothen the single action.
The Ultra-Lite/SD package dropped the DA. This package also includes the extended firing pin.
The DA measurement is with the 13lb hammer spring, it also came with an 11.5 lb hammer spring which should reduce the DA more.

That is pretty good. I finally built my Australian Shadow and with the CGW parts I was able to get DA/SA of 5/2 with a super short reset and break in single action mode with the 8.5 lb spring. Learning how to shoot this setup will be fun.
