Picked up a Sig 9mm barrel for my 226. It has DE stamped on the side. Is this barrel different from the original barrel that came with the gun? If so, how?

DE is a German made barrel. Starting in the early 2000's European law started requiring country of origin markings on all firearm parts manufactured in Europe. Does your original barrel have a circle P mark on it? if so it is German made as well.WTB: Sig P245 or P220 Compact
