We can dream! However with Sigs track record odds are they won't be out in time.

I gave up on the MPX: my thread here, but it does not mean you should. audiophil2 and static2126 are both taking full price deposits but they're refundable if the guns don't come in time by SSE1 deadline.

Not wanting to sacrifice an SSE slot, I bought an ordinary 9mm AR pistol as I want to use it with SB15 (when my wrist is hurting with arthritis )

When you look at the MPX, there is little that distinguishes itself from an AR pistol other than the lack of buffer tube and the proprietary, but MP5-like, MPX magazine. There may be other minor differences such as ambidextrous mag (and bolt?) release which may make a magazine lock more difficult to locate. Not to talk the MPX down, I'd still want one if I can get it, but just being realistic of my chances.

Yup, when Sig announced in April that the 556xi was starting production, they did not exactly ship them out until, what, August for the 5.56 version and October for the 7.62x39 version? Now there is a lot less than 4 months until the end of the year and they have not even announced the MPX entering production

Yes, the MPX handguard looks nice, but as the AR is like a Barbie Doll for grown up men, I'm sure someone, someplace makes or will make a nice free floating HG for the pistols.

I just hang up with my LGS and he claims he may receive some MPXs next week. I keep my finger crossed. If my LGS is able to get the MPX, it tells us so many CA LGSs will receive that as well.

Supply and demand! All LGSs know the dead line to SSE a MPX and demand is huge. It is a last good chance to make a huge profit.

I read a couple of things lately saying that Sig expects to ship them by the end of this month or early Nov. Several shops have preorders to be filled first. A bigger question is how long before a bullet button is available.

Here is CMMG's web page on the Mk9 for your info.

Got mine from Grab A Gun, but now they are OOS.

                      FunkAmmostill has some.

                      This is the idea:

Change the extension tube to a KAK tube to make it a bit longer like the MPX-PSB:

SW Sig customer service today. He claimed the MPX will ship out to dealers next month. He said he was aware of Californias SSE going away.
Anyone have a source in So Cal to buy the MPX if it became available?
